  1. I think another useful criticism to note is the nature of God Anselm describes. It is a traditional, Christian God, so you could argue that he doesn’t cover the possibility of other Gods. But then again as you say, he wasn’t actually trying to prove God but to celebrate Him and the argument works in that way.
